Educate, attract and coach human talents

The transmission of knowledge is at the heart of the missions of the Pasteur Institute in Dakar.

Talented young scientists and health professionals are attracted to the Institut Pasteur in Dakar to further their education.

The Institut Pasteur in Dakar thus contributes to the dissemination of scientific and medical knowledge and to the establishment of an international network of researchers and physicians strongly committed to public health issues at the global level.

As part of the calls for tender of the RIIP courses, the FIPD had to organize in collaboration with its partners international courses on Arbovirology and on the surveillance and control of rabies, on the R software, a metrology workshop, and a course in bioinformatics.

As part of their training mission, the CNRs and WHOCCs of the IPD are the site of advanced training workshops organized by the WHO.

Individual staff participation in various university courses (UCAD, training schools) or organized by different types of structures (Preventive Medicine Agency, etc.).
