The ecology of infectious diseases is a growing discipline, between medicine, public health and research. Vibrio cholerae, cholera, an acute diarrheal infection caused by ingestion or contaminated with the toxigenic bacillus, perfectly illustrates the complexity of the disease expressed in humans, its fecal-oral transmission and the bacteria's environmental reservoirs. It is therefore essential to develop different approaches to the environment of bacteria in natural aquatic environments with a dynamic interaction with the transmission of the human population, also integrating the sociological factors affected by the disease or considered at risk. It is a question of understanding the history of bacteria in the environment before, during and after epidemics, modifying the transmission of the disease by an integral model which can be at the same time more complex. antibiotic resistance, immunity, mobility,
